Litmus, a marketing testing company that is well-known for its ability to make email marketing campaigns viewable and capable of user interaction on any device, is expanding its email building and test application so that it now has the capability of syncing with Campaign Monitor and MailChimp, which are popular email software programs.
Mobile Email advertising campaigns are increasing in use. According to a study by Yesmail360, mobile devices generated a third of all email-driven revenue. Email-driven revenue via mobile devices has seen an increase of 50 percent over the past 2 years.
Litmus Builder allows email designers to save time and money by streamlining workflow. By not having to develop an email campaign in one program, then have to import it into the platform that will be used to send the email, users will be able to reduce the time required to complete the campaign development process. Content writer for Litmus, Kevin Mandeville states in a blog about the new upgrade, “For most email geeks, that means you need to take your HTML and upload it into your ESP, adding several steps to your email production workflow before you can actually click the send button…We decided that wasn’t good enough for Litmus Builder users.”
Litmus reports that as they continue to develop and improve its email test application, it will become compatible with more email service providers. As of now, it is compatible with only two ESPs, Campaign Monitor and MailChimp.
