Bing Ads has recently announced that they will be adding an option for price extensions this week for both mobile and desktop. The ads will be placed at the top of the search results page, and will include descriptions so advertisers can explain what the prices for products are all about.
Those who are using this new feature will need to make sure that the product being advertised, as well as the advertised price, are visible on the landing page. This can be the landing page of the advertiser itself, or a major third-party seller such as Amazon.
Joseph Damiani, a program manager at Bing Ads said, “Description cannot be duplicated in the header. For example, ‘Women’s haircut’ cannot be used for both the header and the description.”
The new feature will initially launch in the United States initially, then will roll out to additional countries in April.
