GetResponse is an email marketing company that serves about 350,000 customers around the world,with more than half of their sales volume coming from US customers. They are headquartered in Poland, and have grown to become one of the largest email marketing companies around. Thanks to this growth, they have recently made an announcement to open new offices in Boston.
This will be their first physical presence in the United States. Mike Morris will be the head of GetResponse US. He joins the team coming from the VoIP solution provider, ‘Grasshopper’ where he served as VP of customer acquisitions. The offices in Boston will serve as the ‘business development hub’ for the company.
The CEO, Simon Grabowski, commented about the new offices saying, “The Internet is amazing. Here we are – a Polish company – fortunate to become successful without a US presence. As we’ve matured and developed, we now have the capital that enables us to launch an expansion full-force.”
They plan to invest $30 million into the US offices over the next two years, and bring in the talent from the Boston area to serve their customers.
