AdsNative Takes Fraud Seriously with FraudLogix

AdsNative, a white label monetization platform that specializes in helping publishers to monetize their sites with visually integrated ads, has partnered with one of the top ad-fraud detection company, Fraudlogix to fight fake traffic. AdsNative is using Fraudlogix’s IP Block List solution to filter out online ad traffic generated through fraudulent means, such as bots, malware-infected devices, data centers and click farms — this shows they are at the top of taking seriously defeating fraud by partnering with this company.

Ad fraud affects both advertisers and publishers. For publishers, fraud wastes resources on their ad servers and can make a publisher liable for make-goods. The presence of fraudulent ad traffic also lowers the credibility and quality of publishers, hindering them from getting new ad dollars from potential demand partners.
“As a monetization platform, protecting the interests of our publishers is of paramount importance,” said Dr. Xuening Sun, Vice President of Data Products at AdsNative, “which is why we’ve partnered with Fraudlogix to combat these challenges.”

The advertising industry overall could lose approximately $10 billion globally to bots in 2017. The latest research, released today, found that publishers with higher cost-per-thousand (CPM) rates were more susceptible to bots, which generally create millions upon millions of ad impressions that are seen by no one but often get charged to marketers as a viewed promotion. Display ads with CPMs greater than $10 had a 39 percent higher incidence of bot activity compared to less-expensive digital properties.

The partnership allows AdsNative to integrate Fraudlogix data, which updates hourly, directly into its ad server, giving the monetization platform pre-bid blocking capabilities for mobile, display, video, in-app and desktop environments.

“The major advantage of working with Fraudlogix is that we leverage the entire data set collected by their pixel footprint, giving AdsNative the ability to see and detect malicious actors that are affecting any part of the digital marketing ecosystem,” said Sun. “While the state of online ad fraud is very dynamic and unpredictable, our partnership with Fraudlogix serves as a stronger foundation to detect and block malicious activity on the web.”

“The level of criminal, non-human traffic literally robbing marketers’ brand-building investments is a travesty,” Bob Liodice, ANA president and CEO, said in a statement. “It also underscores the need for the entire marketing ecosystem to manage their media investments with far greater discipline and control against a backdrop of increasingly sophisticated fraudsters.”

“We are very happy to be working with AdsNative,” said Fraudlogix CEO, Hagai Shechter. “As a publisher-focused vendor, they know how important it is to have and maintain high-quality ad traffic and we’re happy to help them achieve that.”
