World’s First A/B Testing for Unity Apps Launched by Splitforce

Mobile apps and games which have been getting extremely popular over the past few years are earning developers millions in revenue every year.  One problem many of these types of apps have, however, is that it can be difficult to perform real split testing or A/B testing in order to see what types of marketing strategies work the best.  The vast majority of these games make money by selling in-game products, which can make it even more difficult to test.

Over the past few months, several new products and services have come out to aid with this type of split testing, but none have been designed specifically for the Unity platform, which has helped develop thousands of apps.  That is, until now.  SplitForce has added a native Unity library for A/B testing within Unity based games and applications.

This is the first product of its type, and will undoubtedly be extremely helpful for businesses around the world who use Unity based apps.  Whether the app is the main driver of sales, or just a marketing tool, it is essential to be able to test what is, and what is not working, and that is just what this new library from SplitForce will allow.

This library is in addition to the existing split testing library available for the Apple iOS platform.

The Unity library has been beta tested for the past month or so, and hs been used by a Krakow-based game studio, EverydayiPlay with excellent results, according to the CEO, Vincent Vergonjeanne.

The Unity engine has been used to develop a growing number of apps and games, including Vikings Gone Wild, a game primarily played through Facebook, which already has 600,000 installers.  Other games based in Unity include AngryBots, Room of Shadows, Sewer Control Room, Shroud of the Avatar, and more.  The platform allows for easier app development, without sacrificing on the quality of the look or feel of the app, which is why it is becoming a popular choice for app developers.
