Create 6250 Versions of One Ad Using Facebook’s Dynamic Creative Tool

For many marketers, it can be difficult to create and test a large number of ads to see which ones perform the best. Facebook’s dynamic creative tool is looking to solve that problem. They are currently rolling out options that will allow brands to automatically generate up to 6250 different versions of a single ad. The system will then choose which one will perform best depending on where it will be displayed.

This is essentially creating great ad options, and then automatically running split tests to determine the best performers. Having this done automatically will make the lives of many marketers much easier, as this type of task used to take countless hours to complete in many cases.

The system works when a marketer goes into the dynamic creative option, which will allow them to make up to 30 assets. These assets can have five titles, ten images (or videos), and five text entries. The system can then pick and choose which from these categories will be used, resulting in up to 6250 unique combinations.

It is really quite easy to use, and once the initial setup is completed, Facebook handles the bulk of the rest of the work. Marketers can then go through and monitor the results, making adjustments as needed.
