Twitter launched new All Access Program for Businesses & Marketers

Twitter has just recently sent out a number of email invitations to a select group of accounts inviting them to a new program, which they call Twitter All Access.  The program, they say, is ‘packed with benefits to fuel your business.’

There are several specific benefits listed in the email that was sent out, including the following:

  • Expert Consultation – This program comes with free consultation with a Twitter business expert to help grow their Twitter Presence.
  • Improved Support – The email states, “Ask us anything about Twitter for business and we’ll help answer your questions.”  This is listed under the heading of ‘office hours.’
  • Free Advertising – Members of the program will get $100 in free advertising to see how it can benefit their business.
  • Free Training – There will be free events and webinars provided to those in the program.  These training events promise to provide tips from experts and industry leaders on how to help grow your business.
  • Exclusives – Access to the latest Twitter features and product updates before they are released to the public.

It is well known that Twitter needs to quickly grow their advertising revenue in order to keep investors happy, and this seems to be one move in that direction.  It is directly targeting businesses, which are obviously the group of people who will be purchasing the bulk of Twitter ads.  In addition, while I haven’t done it myself, I’m guessing the ‘Twitter Experts’ that are provided will be quick to recommend using Twitter ads to build up a business or brand.

Regardless of intent, however, this seems like a very beneficial program that can be used by those who were invited.  There is no word yet as to whether others will be invited, or if it will become a program that you can pay to join in the future.
